Introduction

Welcome to Michael Eury online! But why am I here? For all who know me I hope my site makes it easy to keep up with what I'm doing professionally. If you don't know me yet you'll be able to get a better idea of who I am, what interests me and where I've been.

The genesis of this site began in mid 2008. I was searching for new ideas on learning and began reading lots of books, attending seminars, searching out interesting blogs and in doing this found that my presence on the web was very minimal. I have run my own learning design business suppling program design and facilitation services to business since 2004. In this time my work has all come through word of mouth recommendations, generally interesting work, but I also wanted to know how could I increase my reach beyond Melbourne, Australia.

And so, the idea of a website began!

Since then I've built this site myself. The site starts off with a Quick Bio and a Who am I? before looking at how I see learning as well as some tips and hints on presentation preparation and delivery. On all pages you will find a series of links to other sites that I find of value, whilst on the Readings page you'll find a list of books that I hope you will find helpful in building upon your own knowledge base. There are also links that take you directly to my stickylearning blog or my business StotanLD.

The key here is that I enjoy working locally, however a website takes you to the world where you can share ideas and build new ones - and it’s really easy to do. (why don’t you too?)
